Why Jesus Christ?

Is your life full of disappointment, stress, and heartache? Perhaps, you have experienced financial pressures for as long as you can remember. Did you know that you can spend an eternity in paradise…guaranteed. Just think of it…joy like you have never experienced it before, no more pain, and no more worries.

Jesus promises that He shall wipe away all tears from your eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for these things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). How would you like to live better than Bill Gates? Just imagine living in a home greater than any mansion ever built on earth! In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2)

Just imagine living in a place where the streets are made of pure gold! (Revelation 21:21) You can live like this not just for 70 or 80 years, but you can spend an eternity in paradise! Where will you spend eternity? Well, there are only two alternatives…heaven or hell. We have described what heaven is like. Now, what is hell like?

Heaven and hell are both real places where we will spend an eternity. The Bible describes, in graphic detail, what one can expect in hell. Sinners will be cast into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:50) Remember this isn’t a temporary thing…this will be experienced for an eternity…your eternity. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night. (Revelation 14:11)

In hell one won’t be in very good company. The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8) You might say, “I am not that bad…I am a pretty good person,” but the fact is we are all sinners and fall short of the kingdom of God. No matter how good one is…he or she cannot make it to heaven on their own. For the wages of sin [is] death. (Romans 6:23). For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Don’t panic…there is good news regarding how you can be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.(Romans 10:9-10) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13)

The gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8-10) This is good news indeed. Jesus provides a plan of salvation in which we can be saved!
